Merino-Mallard

Weight=29 Grams

We use 23mic 64's merino wool tops for our dyed range. Our Merino originates from South Africa (cape) or South America depending on availability from non-mulesed flocks. We have 100 Colors within the range, covering the full Color spectrum. The dyes used are commercial acid dyes which conform with Oeko-Tex 100 quality system. We have tried to represent the Colors as accurately as possible on our web site, however we would recommend purchasing one of our sample binders to see the exact Colors available. Perfect for hand felting, hand spinning and many other craft uses.

Delicious color and feel

I am a relatively new spinner and have been experimenting a lot with different fibers. This mallard colored merino is soft, with an easy to manage staple length. It spins beautifully! It feels great and looks lovely. Soft enough to knit into yarn for a scarf.

Beautiful Fiber

Very fine and silky fiber. The color is wonderful. Just what I had hoped.
